Garden update March 2013

A wild, vigorous calatea lutea... I don't know if vallaris glabra can survive at the back. Currently the climbers have to fight for sunlight with the bushy tree and broad calatea leaf..
A corner of white rain lily  with a new variegated grass like shrub ( unknown species) .
This is what happened after a continuous effort to fight a dry season and keeping the water in a constant level. The easiest way is by filling up the pond with a soil but i change the plan by having some marginal plant to live. A selom or Oenanthe javanica WC from the family of Apiaceae. The base of the concrete pond is filled up with a coconut husks and some soil.
An attempt to filled up every inch of the land with the suitable plant. currently, the hardy, easy to live caladium is trying to survive under the shades of large broad calathea leaf.
Last year Pict before the calathea plant boerdering the edge of the garden.
